we all complete

things that matter ... one of the biggest joys and comforts for me last year was my return to Never Let Me Go: the book (at each reading it has become more and more of a favorite), the movie and the score ... this undoes me. this clears all the clutter. leaving only that which matters before me. i grow as a human being every single time i go back to it. i've reread it twice this year. it matters more and more now than it did when it was released.

this is the simple premise: time is fleeting. we all complete. what really matters is really real, be it 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months, 5 years, 50 years. fucking up is bound to happen. fix it. change course. change your.self. change. grow. evolve. love. live. love your.self. forgiveness and acceptance do make a difference. but above all, don't time and energy and your.self with stuff that doesn't matter. so tell me, why not be here now?!
[ps: read the book, see the movie, if you're so inclined listen to the score.]
