sometimes what makes a book special isn't the book itself but who one became whilst reading it! ;)

and one can quickly identify the people whose books are an extension of themselves and those who, along with the books in their shelves, are mere empty shells devoid of meaning and/or any real depth!

throughout the years i did not keep close tabs on Sylvia's children, i knew more or less the course their lives took (both their chosen isolation from the world was not lost on me, its significance resounding) and that was enough (anything more just didn't make that much sense to me), so finding out the hard way that Nicholas killed himself in 2009 was a rough blow because of all the issues pertaining to the genetics of depression ...

you find yourself contemplating your puzzle and the implications of its big picture in a completely different light.

mid August onward things have been somewhat bizarre, i'd like to say things are ever so much better now, and in a way they are but i guess they're mostly just different, i'm not in the same fractal moment, but some sleeping giants were awaken the only difference is i'm not afraid of them anymore ...
